My father Curtis R. L. was there during this and he was a private for the U.S. Army 456th Antiaircraft Battalion and in England on D-Day period 21 days later he hit the beach in Normandy. He and his unit were bombed by U-boats in England. Curtis L. lives on C. circle. He is 91.
